Here’s the deal: Monday through Thursday, you book $300 worth of treatments at the spa, and the staff will hand over the keys to one of the inn’s sexy $480-and-up cottages, complete with a ready-to-light fire, an outdoor shower, and a marshmallowy bed. ’Nuff said. Hole up happily in your loveshack for the day, or amble over to what’s surely the most scenic pool in wine country. Yes, they boot you out at 6 p.m., but you’ll feel like a million bucks. If there’s a better way to spend a “sick day,” I’d like to hear it.
